The World's Biggest Coffee Morning

On Friday 27th September we took part in the world’s biggest coffee morning to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The team’s contributions were varied; with everything from traditional Croatian Burek to nostalgia-inducing Rocky Road making an appearance… plus, a variety of delicious vegan options.

We made it through with only one semi-disaster in the form of an attempt at traditional Scottish tablet - taste-wise all was well, but the appearance was likened to everything from Polyfiller to cavity wall insulation.

If you didn’t take part this year, we recommend signing up for the Macmillan Coffee Morning fundraiser pack next year and getting the team together for a morning of tasty treats, all in the name of a very good cause.

This year’s coffee morning raised £100.72 for Macmillan Cancer Support - enough to pay for half a day of specialist nursing for a cancer patient. We’re looking forward to next year, when we hope to beat our record and enjoy another morning of fantastic baking from the team!
