Our client, BCI win memcom18 award

We were delighted to attend memcom 2018 last month and see our client, the BCI (The Business Continuity Institute) receive an award for their new and improved website.

Awarded by memcom, the leading conference and awards event for professional membership bodies and associations, the award was in the category “Most Innovative use of a Website”.

We helped design and deliver the website in October last year, transforming the way the Institute connected with its audience, using our open source digital experience platform, Preside https://www.preside.org/

With approximately 8,000 members in more than 100 countries worldwide, working in an estimated 3,000 organisations in private, public and third sectors, it was key that the new platform presented visitors with an improved, more personalised user experience to encourage visitor interaction and engagement, and also that the architecture was improved so users could find what they were looking for with ease.

The BCI was praised for showing the importance to deliver a website which specifically responded to its audiences’ needs, especially their members.  To support this they held external usability testing sessions with BCI users and we ensured all feedback and requirements were considered during the design and architecture phase.

From a cleaner design, community groups, member to member messaging, mentor to mentee facilitation, to user experience this website is nothing but innovative.
