New client: Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS)
We are delighted to announce that the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS) has selected Pixl8's Preside platform to drive forward their digital transformation.
With over 19,000 members in 73 countries, IBMS is the leading professional body for scientsits, support staff and students in the field of biomedical science, dedicated to the development and delivery of excellence.
IBMS has chosen Pixl8 to build a new website to deliver their wide range of resources, training and events to the scientific community. The new user-centred site design, with intuitive navigation will include streamlined membership application and renewals processes. IBMS members will be able to log their training and maintain records online. Pixl8 will also work with learning provider partner D2L to integrate the new site with their online Brightspace Learning Management system - opening up learning opportunities for thousands of members.
Other innovative features include an integration with OpenEngage CRM. We have extensive experience integrating third-party systems, and have developed our own connector that allows us to deliver on our client ambitions.
There will also be a single sign-on for digital versions of two member magazines - the British Journal of Biomedical Science and The Biomedical Scientist.

Websites built using Preside come with a Digital Experience Platform that is specfically designed to meet the needs of the membership sector. IBMS' new site will also benefit from eventfolio, our event management software, which gives users everything they need to run a portfolio of in-person, virtual or hyrbid events - an innovative integration with Zoom, Vimeo and Livestream also allows for swifter and smarter webinars.
Pixl8 works closely with clients to fully establish their organisational and members' needs. In the discovery phase we capture, test and refine these requirements to inform the best technological, design and UX solutions.
