A digital solution for seamless membership management

SNIA Europe (Storage Networking Industry Association) has recently had their website redeveloped and redesigned by Pixl8.

The site has been built upon Pixl8’s stellar Membership WebConnect solution, providing a whole heap of features and functionality out of box, all specially developed with memberships in mind. Together with Pixl8’s award winning design team, and other custom development SNIA Europe has seen a sharp increase in website usage, with unique visitors and page views rising quite considerably.

SNIA Europe’s primary aims involve educating the market on storage infrastructure solutions for data centers via various means such as education, knowledge exchange and industry thought leadership. As a Regional Affiliate of SNIA Worldwide, SNIA Europe represents storage product and solutions manufacturers and the channel community across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The project required a membership database to be built upon WebConnect, enabling SNIA Europe to manage their member details all within one centralised system.  The website now provides the various corporate members the ability to upload their own news and events articles, along with supporting documents, all moderated by SNIA Europe staff.  This has helped to really promote the community feel of the site, adding value to membership, whilst maintaining varied and up to date content, which is also helping SEO efforts. Advanced filtering of these news and events articles such as by topic, country and date has also helped to improve site functionality overall, making it easier for users to find the content they’re looking for fast.

A more detailed look at the website statistics, comparing January and February’s averages this year, with the monthly averages last year tells the full story:

  • Unique visitors up 20%
  • Page views up 350%
  • Time on site up 109%
