The Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors

The CIEHF is a community of designers, collaborators and innovators who use Human Factors to bring about change that enables people to be the best they can be.  

Their new ReadyMembership website with members' login area, includes a Communities section where members can join an Open Forum or sector groups. Here they can take part in online discussions, share documents and organise meetings. A daily digest of discussions is shared within each group. 

The website is also integrated with D2L Brightspace, a leading learning management system. An online shop will follow - allowing members to purchase courses.

Chartered Accountants Benevolent Association

CABA gives support to members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants or ACA Students. This includes financial, mental and physical health assistance as well as career and legal advice. 

Their new custom designed website brings a much better structure and user experience. The team has greater control over their website, with brand colour management on pages. 

The next phase of development will see site integration with Microsoft Dynamics CRM -  bringing a single source of member data. A “My Account” area will give self service tools to users - allowing them to update details and monitor grants applications.

International Society of Blood Transfusion

The ISBT has been bringing transfusion professionals together to improve transfusion safety worldwide since 1935. 

Their new ReadyMembership website includes a members area, events booking, comprehensive resource library and online join process. Members can update their Continuous Professional Development records, with points from ISBT activities to be automatically added in the future. 

The platform allows them to manage membership subscriptions with tiered pricing at several levels. An online shop and integration with learning platform Brightspace will be added in due course.

Bar Council Direct Access Portal 

Pixl8 built a new version of this portal where people can submit details about their potential legal case through an online enquiry process. 

After answering some simple questions users receive recommendations of Barristers best suited to their requirements. They choose a Barrister from the list and send them information on their case. 

The Barrister can respond with a decision on whether or not to take it. Our team’s impact can be seen in every aspect of the project. Our experts worked across strategy, UX and updated copy and design as well as backend and frontend development.

British Veterinary Association – Canine Health Schemes Online Submission Portal & MyBVA

The Canine Health Schemes were set up by the BVA and the Kennel Club to allow breeders to screen their dogs for a range of inherited diseases, helping them to make informed and responsible breeding decisions. Their new submissions portal allows vets to submit scans of dog’s hips and elbows to the scheme for assessment.

Integrated with Microsoft Dynamics, thanks to our partner Bluelight CRM, vets can use the portal to pay scheme fees directly, ask for an invoice or request that dog owners pay. Owners are sent an email with a link to pay. 

New Homes Quality Board (NHQB) 

The NHQB was formally constituted in January 2021 in order to develop a new framework to oversee reforms in the build quality of new homes and developers’ customer service.

They engaged Pixl8 to provide a platform to register all new home property developers in England, Scotland & Wales and collect their fees. The portal is helping to manage their transition into the New Homes Quality Code and ultimately, manage their membership under the code. 

Developers pay fees related to their turnover and their details are registered with the New Homes Ombudsman Service - the body overseeing the new code that protects customers.

The portal is integrated with Credit Safe - allowing automatic financial checks on developers whether a sole trader or a limited company. Xero is also integrated with Go Cardless to follow.

Reward and Employee Benefits Association

REBA is the only professional networking community for reward and benefits practitioners. 

Their customised website brings a greatly improved user experience. Features include member & supplier directories with tiered access, custom advertising, a standalone community/discussion forum, and a member-to-member chat tool. 

APSCo Global 

The Association Of Professional Staffing Companies is an international trade body offering global services with local delivery to the international recruitment sector through our offices in Australia, Germany, throughout South East Asia and the UK.

We have rolled out new microsites on their new platform for APSCo Asia, UK, Germany and APSCo Outsource - all connected to Xero.  They all have features including integrated CRM, member login and events management.

Independent Schools Association

This registered charity represents the Heads of over 580 independent schools. It provides its members with the highest quality information and advice as well as CPD courses, and regional and national events in Sports and the Arts.  The ISA wanted to move all their systems into one platform and improve their members’ online experience. 

Their new platform allows them to easily manage individual and organisational membership and includes an integration with Xero. Our team developed an Inspections functionality and a customised events management tool.

The new website includes an online join process, members login and a with members’ login includes a “Find a School” directory. Parents can search by postcode and easily find independent schools in their area.
