2020 in stories and pictures

2020 was an extraordinary year. As we begin a fresh 2021, we want to reflect on some of our personal highlights over the past year. Whilst we moved to work remotely to continue to deliver the planned go-lives, this year also saw much innovation. We’ve developed new product features to respond to changing requirements and our consultancy team has provided strategic and creative support along the way.

We'd like to give a huge thanks to all our longstanding clients and all the new ones that have joined us during this extraordinary time.

Rapid innovation

As you may already know Pixl8 builds all its digital solutions on the Preside platform which allows for a seamless integration between CMS, CRM, email and events solutions. It is constantly being developed and improved:

This year has posed new challenges for membership organisations - and Pixl8 has responded. For example, we have accelerated the delivery of our Zoom integration so clients had a swift solution to deliver their diverse event programmes online. 

Other key features that have been added to our products this year included the really important option to receive payments via direct debits. We also introduced Message Pipe’s marketing lists and the option to receive payments via direct debits. Both features came in handy during a time of increased online activity. 

With our marketing lists you can now segment your contacts based on user type, interest, or even membership status, enabling easy personalisation across your email communications. Direct debits can play a key role within renewal processes and aid member retention.

As Pixl8 is approaching its 20th birthday, we are proud to work with a talented, long standing team. This year, Tarek Abou-Chanab is celebrating his 10th and Luke Holderness his 15th anniversary of joining Pixl8! As a Lead Developer and Head of Creative, they are invaluable members of our team and we are looking forward to more time spent together.
