Visitors to ACS Website Jump up by 30% After Redesign!

ACS (The Association of Convenience Stores) has been a pixl8 client for over 2 years now, and have recently had their site redesigned and redeveloped by Pixl8.  ACS primarily aims to provide it’s existing member base of over 33,000 convenience store owners with support via lobbying, advice on legislation, and through various types of events.

After a relatively short development period, ACS now has a completely new designed website.  The site is now far more engaging thanks to modernised event listings yet at the same time functional as it takes advantage of a wider design, which provides ACS with additional space for displaying content.

New functionality has been included in the form of member commenting and Active Objects.  Member commenting builds upon the interactive qualities of the site, giving ACS the ability to allow members to comment on a range of news articles and documents.  News, Events and Press Releases have now been setup as Active Objects, allowing ACS staff to drop these in as related content throughout the site.

The benefits of the project have already been demonstrated as explained by Chris Noice - Communications Assistant at ACS:
