A Visionary New Website for the BCLA

The BCLA (British Contact Lens Association) came on board with Pixl8 at the start of the year, choosing our specialised membership website package – Membership WebConnect.  The BCLA is the country's leading supplier of information and education on contact lenses and the anterior eye.

The new website which is integrated with Centrepoint’s eTarget database system, ensures that member information is always kept up to date.  This is made possible by the use of iFrames, which display eTarget screens within the actual web pages themselves.  Consistent colours and branding used to style these forms within the iFrames, ensures a seamless experience is delivered to the members.

Pixl8’s design team has ensured that BCLAs brand has been brought online, whilst delivering both an engaging and intuitive user interface for it’s members.  The Membership WebConnect solution enables BCLA to efficiently manage content, such as for news and events listings through use of dedicated components.  The ability to drop in related content throughout the site, building topic focused pages and sections is included as standard via Active Objects.  This has all helped BCLA to continue to build upon it’s online services, increasing the value of membership.
